- Gwen was a stalker (in pre)
- people actually farmed for items to get collector armor/weapons/shields
- Lieutenant’s Helm had a use (vs. hex)
- Unlimited minions and Heal Party (

)
- Capping Verata's
- No skill trainer in Ember (

- No fleeing mobs from AoE
- Getting to the Fire Islands was considered an "achievement"
- Power of my Rangers has a won a battle in the Hall of Heroes. Europe will win the Favour of the Gods with X more wins (or words to that effect)
- The first (and best) special event - Mad King Thorn's visit
- The Monk Strike
- The Necro Strike (Tormentor's armor angst)

I remember when Thunderhead keep was hard.
i remember the joy of exploring everywhere instead of running.
i remember a full party of level 20's struggling to go kill that bad Wizard dude in er... (it's been so long i can't remember now) is it Kessex peak?
I remember someone telling me he had healing hands as an elite and actually going all the way there and trying to cap it

I remember when a tombs team i organised lasted 14 minutes against a korean team and people were impressed.
I remember FOC spike decimating IWAY in tombs.
I remember when me and 3 other guildies were the first people in Deldrimor war camp.

Hey guys,Old GW Player here(since aus relese)and got talking about all the good old times(times befor factons) and changes GW has seen that i, and many ppl forget all about..like only being able 2 cap a skill when the boss is using it.infuson armor runs.lighting drake runs(for those leet purp items).no minnion cap.all the old arenas.the old skill interface.
What can you guys rember,dont know about you but i get a kick out of how far GW has come and strollin down that memory lane

Sadly i don't go back that far, i know that alot of good things have been spoilt eg minion armies but they got rid of needing certain points to change your attributes from one thing to another (my friend wasn't having me on were they?).

Indeed, you needed to use a refund point to decrease your stats, you'd get one every time you level'd up.

Heres something for the really old schoolers, remember when female chars would salute but instead of hitting their chest and nodding they would float in the air with their arms stretched out to their sides while looking up (sort of a crucified look).

And how bout when you were able to send/mail messages to ppl that were offline so when those ppl got back online they would recieve that message. Oh yes the glorious E34E days. OH YA, and when Anet would actually release planned event EARLY! like they did with E34E which was released like 3 days early (was supposed to be a weekend only event, but turned into an entire week event). Same thing happened with the World Preview Event.

I loved the old login screen. When you logged in, it showed your chars in a row with an Ascalonian background, and when you switched between them, they walked up. I also liked the old character creation screen. Good times.

when doa was released lol I remember getting booted from so many groups for not using a mic
